Kieran McQuinn is a Research Professor in the ESRI who works on the quarterly economic commentary (QEC), macroeconomic and housing related projects. His research interests are in the macro-financial and economic growth areas. He spent over 11 years working in the Irish Central Bank where he had management positions in the research and financial stability areas. Kieran has a PhD in economics from NUI Maynooth. He has served on the management committee and the council of the Economic and Social Research Institute and he is currently adjunct professor of economics at University College Cork and Trinity College Dublin.
Malcolm Melville, Commodities Fund Manager - Sentiment and Chart Analyst, Schroders - London
- Co-fund manager of the Schroder AS Commodity fund, Schroder AS Commodity TR, Schroder ISF Commodity, Commodity TR LP and Schroder ISF Inflation Plus
- In addition to the above Malcolm is also responsible for chart and sentiment analysis across the whole EMD AR and Commodities group
- In 2004 Malcolm worked for Caxton Europe Asset Management as a portfolio manager responsible for a global macro fund
- 2003 joined Fortis Investment Management as a currency strategist covering G10 and EM currencies
- Investment career commenced in 1997 at Norwich Union on the FX desk.

Hannah Daly is a full Professor in Sustainable Energy and Energy Systems Modelling at University College Cork, Ireland. Her focus is on modelling and developing sustainable pathways for the energy system, encompassing energy access, climate change and air pollution. She engages extensively with policymakers, civil society and academia on those topics. As well as being a lead contributing author to several International Energy Agency World Energy Outlook reports, she has co-authored many peer-reviewed journal articles and several book chapters and other reports. She also writes a regular column - “In a Time of Climate Crisis” - for the Irish Times.
