More and more pension investments are moving into fixed interest asset class due to desire to de-risk and regulatory pressure to match liabilities. But what value do  bonds offer at current valuations and are the risks here really understood?

Biographical details

Oliver Sinnott specialises in Fixed Income strategy and advises investors on where best to invest across the bond spectrum, as well as managing bespoke bond funds. As part of the strategy team he works closely with the investment committee, conducting analysis on macroeconomic and fixed income research. Oliver joined Davy in 2006 as an investment analyst having spent five years as a software engineer. He holds a Masters in Economics and Finance and a higher Diploma in Economics from NUI Maynooth. He is also a member of the Institute of Bankers and holds the International Fixed Income and Derivatives (IFID) certification from Reading University.
