The Society of Actuaries in Ireland is the professional body that develops, maintains and enforces standards for the actuarial profession in Ireland. Through its Code of Professional Conduct, and its processes for ensuring members' compliance with the Code, the Society fosters the highest standards of professional practice, ethics and conduct.
The Society also issues Actuarial Standards of Practice (ASPs) on specific areas of practice.
A Disciplinary Scheme is in place in order to enforce the Society's professional requirements.
