SAI Committee & Working Group Outputs

The Society of Actuaries in Ireland has many Committees and Working Groups in operation at any one time. They are formed to support actuaries working in different practice areas/roles and to deliver on the Society’s goals in expanding the skills and reputation of actuaries.

This is achieved through organising relevant and topical CPD events, contributing to the development of the regulatory framework, championing the development of knowledge and research and, where relevant, developing and maintaining the actuarial standards that are specific to their practice area.

Committees are made up of volunteering Members. Check out our Volunteering pages here.

This page has been set up to showcase the work of some of our committees and working groups and replaces our previous 'Updates from the Practice Committees' page (see below)

We hope this helps members and the public better understand the activities of the various groups.
