Climate Change:  An Actuarial Perspective

Eamon Comerford, Aisling Kennedy and Ciara Brown, Members of the Society's Sustainability and Climate Change Steering Group (SCCSG) will present an overview of work done by the group and the Society to date. The presentation will also focus on what climate change means for actuaries, including from a professionalism perspective.

Conferring of Honorary Fellowship

As announced on the 3rd May 2022, Mary Robinson has been elected as an Honorary Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

The President, Declan Lavelle, will formally confer Mary Robinson with her Honorary Fellowship following the SCCSG presentation. The event will conclude with dinner in the hotel.

 

Cost:
The conferring and presentation are free of charge to attend.  There is a €50 charge to attend the dinner.
