Fergal Coburn, AIB’s Chief Digital & Innovation Officer – is responsible for the strategy & development of AIB's digital channels, payments and card issuing businesses. Also responsible for the commercial development of Business APIs as part of the Bank's strategy to be at the heart of our customers financial lives. Previously, spent 12 years in leadership positions across all aspects for AIB's digital business and 4 years on the technology side of AIB as Telecoms Services Manager.
Prior to joining AIB in 2001 worked for 5 years in the Oil & Gas Exploration Industry as a Senior Wireline Engineer moving onto an additional 5 years with Telecom Eireann/Eircom as the Network Support Systems Manager.
