6.30pm Presentation on the CBI’s Consultation Paper (CP103) on Guidance for (Re)insurance undertakings on the Head of Actuarial Function Role.

The Central Bank has published a Consultation Paper (CP103) on Guidance for (Re)Insurance undertakings on the Head of Actuarial Function Role.  This consultation will be of interest, not only to Heads of Actuarial Function, but also to those with whom the Head of Actuarial Function will need to engage in order to provide actuarial opinions as required under Solvency II and related Central Bank Requirements – e.g. Chief Risk Officers, underwriters, reinsurance managers.  

The CP is available here.  The consultation will close on 12th August.   

The Society will respond to the consultation.  If members have any comments or questions that they would like the Society to consider including in the response, please submit them to the Society’s online discussion forum or email them to info@actuaries.ie
