The US Healthcare System and the Role of the Actuary

The session will give attendees a high level understanding of the US healthcare system and the changes and challenges as a result of recent healthcare reform.  Attendees will also gain an understanding of the important of the healthcare actuary in all aspects of the US healthcare system and the role of the American Academy of Actuaries in US healthcare policymaking.
