As part of a team managing over €300bn in cash assets, David will provide insight and perspective on the challenges facing cash investors in the current environment of low-yields, deteriorating credit quality and significant regulatory change.

Biographical details

David is Senior Portfolio Strategist within the Global Cash team at  State Street Global Advisors .  In this role, David acts as the key link between the cash investment team and SSgA's cash clients.

David joined State Street Global Advisors Ireland Limited (formerly Bank of Ireland Asset Management) in July 2007 as a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for the management of Investment Grade credit strategies in the Cash and Fixed income arenas. Previously, David spent five years in a similar role with Butterfield Asset Management in Bermuda. David began his career with AIG in London, UK in 1993 as a fixed income portfolio manager managing active and liability driven bond strategies for institutional investors.

David is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, and of the Smurfit Graduate School of Business at UCD.
