A Wider Fields Committee was set up in 2014 and seeks to:
- enable our members to reach out into new areas of work;
- promote the profession and broaden its reach both within and beyond the financial services industry; and
- embrace and support our members who work in non-traditional areas of practice.
The Actuarial Profession in Ireland document
A 2 page document entitled "The Actuarial Profession in Ireland" has been created by a sub-group of the Wider Fields Committee in order to provide a ready-made mechanism for communicating the activities, scale of presence, development and reputation of the profession in Ireland, with a view to supporting the further development of the profession.
