Student members of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland are entitled to a Student Travel Card. This card can be obtained by calling into the Student Office in Trinity College Dublin (TCD) with some form of ID.
Please note, the Student Office in TCD is back open! You now have two options to obtaining a Student card:
- To go into the campus
- or alternatively stick with the Zoom verification if it suits you better (Click here for further information)
The Society recently launched a Public Directory, and TCD will accept as proof of membership any student who is listed on the Directory for the purpose of processing Student Travel Cards.
If you are not currently listed on the Public Directory, you can add yourself by going to ‘My Profile’, ‘Edit’ and ‘User Lists’.
If you do not wish to be included on the Public Directory, you may bring the confirmation letter you received from the Society’s Member Services Team with you as proof of membership along with some ID. If you do not have this letter then please contact the Society and we will send you a copy letter.
