Assurance Companies Act 1909, section 13 in respect of transfers governed by Irish law. For portfolio transfers which are not governed by Irish law, members should make themselves aware of the legislative or regulatory rules that apply to such portfolio transfers
Application
Actuaries invited to act as the “Independent Actuary” in a Section 13 transfer under the Assurance Companies Act 1909 or actuaries performing a similar role to that of the “Independent Actuary” that is governed by the laws of a legal jurisdiction outside of Ireland
