Society commissions research on sustainability of State Pension

The Society has decided to commission an analysis of the financial sustainability of the State Pension in Ireland.  In particular, the research will focus on the key levers (and associated parameters) that could be flexed when considering the sustainability of the State Pension.

The Society intends to publicise key findings to help inform debate and public policy decision making by providing a sense of the financial and social implications of flexing each of the parameters in various ways.  The Society will provide a copy of the analysis to PublicPolicy.ie, who have kindly agreed to provide funding for the research.

Further information on this research can be found in the Society’s Request for Proposal (RFP).

Proposals must be received by the Society no later than Friday, 6th March 2015 at 5pm.  More detailed project timelines are included in the RFP.
