We are delighted to announce that the 2024 SAI Life Forum is being held on the 28th May, 2024 in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. We will begin with registration, tea and coffee at 1.30 pm and the forum will conclude at 5.35 pm.

There will be a plenary session and three parallel sessions throughout the afternoon. The Plenary session will be on Innovation in healthcare: What is the impact on mortality?, delivered by Dr Jack Halligan (Prova Health, Imperial College London). Dr Halligan will discuss the potential impact on mortality of innovative technologies and treatments in healthcare. For example, will artificial intelligence (AI) revolutionise healthcare? If so, what AI solutions could have the greatest impact? What is the potential impact of weight loss drugs on heart disease and stroke? Will new treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease really slow progression?

Dr Jack Halligan is the Co-founder of Prova Health and Honorary Research Fellow at Imperial College London. He has over 10 years’ healthcare experience in Ireland, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, working across clinical medicine, digital health, and in management consulting with McKinsey & Company.
