In-person: SAI Life Forum 2023
We are pleased to announce that the SAI Life Forum 2023 will be held on the 10th May, 2023 in the Aviva Stadium from 1.30 pm with registration, tea and coffee. The forum will conclude at 5.35 pm.

Parking and Transport: There is a car park on Lansdowne Road. This car park works on a first come, first served basis and it not guaranteed for all guests. Parking is charged at €2.00 per hour to a maximum of €10.00. There is also the dart, which is right next to Stairwell 42, which is the entrance place to the event. The stop to get off the dart at is Lansdowne Road.
Cycling: There are bike racks located beside Aviva Stadium outside Elvery's/ Stadium Tour office and inside the car park also.

The Plenary session will be on the Mortality inequalities on the island of Ireland, delivered by Dr Mary Hall, FSAI, FIA (DCU) and Ms Linda Daly, FSAI, FIA (Lecturer – UCC)
The topic is Mortality inequalities on the island of Ireland including an analysis on the seasonal and Covid19 differences between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, cause of death and place of death differences.
Dr Mary Hall and Ms Linda Daly will present the results of their current research on the impact of Covid-19 on mortality in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Further they will talk around the recent issues/developments in mortality analysis more widely and the implications for Ireland. Issues explored will also include increased uncertainties/volatility post Covid, current research in modelling mortality, and work currently being done in Irish universities.

By having two separate event pages for those attending the Life Forum in-person, on the day and for those who cannot attend, but would like to watch the recordings afterwards, will help us to make arrangements with the venue as efficiently as possible.
