IIPM Law & Governance for Trustees (QPT) course: Information session

Announcement from the Irish Institute of Pensions Management organiser: On 18th November 2021, the Pensions Authority published its Code of Practice for trustees of occupational pension schemes and trust RACs. This Code includes a requirement that at least one trustee on the board, or one director of a sole corporate trustee meets new minimum education requirements.  

IIPM’s Law and Governance for Trustees (QPT) course is one of only two qualifications named by the Pensions Authority as meeting these minimum requirements.

The next Law and Governance for Trustees (QPT) course will start on 14th February, details available here.

There will be an information session held, at 09:00 on Friday 17th December with IIPM President Ian Slattery and lecturer Stephen Lalor, covering the practical aspects of the course and the registration process.
