Actuarial Teachers and Researchers Conference 2021

UCD is virtually hosting the 2021 Actuarial Teachers and Researchers Conference. UCD warmly welcomes attendees and talks from industry for interaction with the academics who will be speaking.

Longer talks to date include:

  • Prof Brendan Murphy on Covid Modelling in Ireland;
  • Clifford Friend from the IFOA with an update on future plans for actuarial education;
  • Prof Elena Kulinskaya on the use of big data in health modelling; and
  • Prof Andreas Tsanakas on multivariate stressing of risk models.

The event also includes a series of short talks from academics on other topics of interest to insurers and actuaries.

Please note: the abstract deadline for speakers (‘Application for talk deadline’) was listed as 20th May 2021 on the registration page, but has now been extended by a further two weeks from that initial date.
