UCD Lecture Series
The UCD Centre for Ethics in Public Life is holding a public lecture series at Newman House, St Stephen’s Green during February /March.
Topics include: “Ethics in the Age of Climate Change”; “The Ethics of Ignorance and Carelessness”; The Role of Empathy in our Moral Life”; and “Paying Attention”.
The series will consist of five lectures of 40 minutes duration by prominent researchers in ethics from University College Dublin followed by discussion.
The next lectures taking place are:
Tuesday 18th February: The Ethics of Ignorance and Carelessness;
Tuesday 25th February: The Role of Empathy in our Moral Life; and
Tuesday 24th March: Paying Attention.
