POSTPONED: Ethics in Data Science Talk

Data science is a new discipline. As such, there are no formal or informal codes of ethics surrounding it's practice. However, Data Science inherits from a number of disciplines, such as statistics, social sciences and engineering. We review ethical principles from these disciplines and talk about what a code of ethics for Data Science would look like.
Richie has been fighting with data for well over a decade. Following his escape from academia, he has variously worked in the travel industry, the mobile gaming industry and the advertising industry. He believes that his background in social science and years of experience in professional data science equips him to give this talk.
