The Society of Actuaries in Ireland is delighted to announce details of this year’s Annual Convention, which, for the first time, will be held virtually.

The programme for the day will include sessions on:

  • ‘An Assessment of Economic, Financial & Political Risks in 2021 and Beyond’ by economic analyst Jim Power
  • ‘Risk Management in a Crisis’ by Greg Dempsey, Deputy Secretary, Governance and Performance Division in the Department of Health
  • ‘The Power of Networking in a Changed World’ by our keynote speaker Kingsley Aikins, CEO of The Networking Institute

There will also be sessions on Professionalism, Consumer Protection, Data Visualisation, Population Health Management, Recovery and Resolution Planning, Climate Change, Leadership plus many more practice-specific and general interest topics.  The current programme is available here.

After you register and pay online via the Society’s website, you will be given access to a dedicated digital platform which will host all the sessions.  Further details on the Convention and using the digital platform are available here.
