A one hour presentation on M&A from a practitioners perspective, using a sale of a block of annuity business as a case study in terms of the issues to consider from a seller’s perspective.

The presentation will touch on the process followed, sale rationale/investor story, deal strategy, bidder engagement, and the execution of an M&A.

Biographical details

Waheeda Narker

Waheeda is a Senior Director in the Insurance, Consulting and Technology.  She is the Operational Excellence Leader for our Life Business, a member of the UK management team and leads our Bulk Annuity offering. Waheeda specialises in M&As and is a core member of the UK Life M&A team, specialising in annuity portfolio transactions, including pre-deal impact assessment, appraisals, deal terms and contract negotiation.

Fergal O’Shea

Fergal is a Senior Director in the Insurance, Consulting and Technology division at Willis Towers Watson and leads the M&A practice for EMEA Life.
