Influencing and Negotiating Skills & Stakeholder engagement

This course will give participants the ability to be influential in all their communications and the skills and strategies to deal with specific negotiations.

It will give them the core skill set to ensure that in every interaction they are persuasive and impactful as possible. This may be during a casual conversation or board meeting. They will learn how to actively listen to build relationships, how to guide conversations, how to structure their arguments and inputs so they are as persuasive as possible and how to tailor their own behaviour to match their audience.

They will also gain an insight into the various different negotiation strategies and how they apply to all situations.

Being influential is not only about immediate behaviour, it is also about longterm relationships. This is where the stakeholder engagement element of the course applies. There will be a section where participants are guided through a process for managing stakeholders over the long term to effectively build and maintain key relationships.
