IMI Event: Advant-edge Session 1: Be an Authentic Leader - Cork

Details of the Society’s partnership with the Irish Management Institute (IMI) are available here.

Through this partnership, the Society can avail of 10 complimentary places at certain IMI events and a discount of 50% for additional attendees, provided the event has not booked out. 

These CPD workshops are aimed at mid to senior level managers, and are designed to ensure managers are constantly refreshing and enhancing their management and leadership know how.

Organisations need to recognise, harness, direct and develop their talent to use it to their best advantage – the same is true of their leaders.

IMI associate Billy Byrne will explore what we mean by authentic leadership in practice and demonstrate the key role that Emotional Intelligence plays in developing authentic leaders. An executive coach, leadership development specialist and an associate at KinchLyons, Organisational Psychologists, Billy is also a keen marathon runner, meaning he knows what it takes to tackle and overcome, big goals.
