International Mentoring Day Breakfast Meeting

To mark International Mentoring Day on Friday 27 October, the Society will hold a breakfast meeting including presentations and a discussion on effective mentoring practices and the benefits of the Society's Member Support Service.

The Member Support Service enables members to avail of mentoring at all stages of their career. It’s a flexible service and the member receiving mentoring can decide if it involves one meeting or phone call with a mentor or whether it should last over a longer period of time. This Service is effectively an expansion of the Society's Mentoring Programme for recently qualified actuaries which was established in 2014.

Who Should Attend: The meeting is primarily for members looking to develop their mentoring skills, particularly if they have volunteered to act as a mentor within the Society, as well as those who are interested in sharing their experiences of mentoring or being mentored. It may also be of interest to members who are considering availing of the Member Support Service.
