PRIIPS Update

Members of the PRIIPs working group will give an update on the regulation of PRIIPs (packaged retail and insurance-based investment products) and on the working group’s activities in this area, which will be of interest to members and non-members involved in the development or marketing of such products, or those interested in policyholder disclosure matters more generally.

The topics covered will include a brief background to PRIIPs and the development of Europeans and domestic regulation governing these products, discussion on key issues arising from the requirements for the Key Information Document (KID) required for PRIIPs, including the performance scenarios, and the overlap of the KID with the current Life Disclosure requirements.
