SAI and APLI joint meeting on Enhanced Transfer Value

Enhanced Transfer Value (ETV) exercises from defined benefit pensions schemes have become increasingly common in recent years.

In this joint meeting with The Association of Pension Lawyers in Ireland (APLI), Philip Smith (APLI) and Paul Torsney (SAI) will introduce the legal and actuarial considerations involved in an ETV exercise.

They will explore these topics by working through a case study taking into account the viewpoints of companies, scheme trustees and advisors.
