CP104 and the Solvency II audit, an accounting perspective

The Central Bank of Ireland has finalised its requirements for the external audit of Solvency II regulatory returns / public disclosures, which were originally outlined in Consultation Paper CP 104.

The requirements address the external audit of relevant elements of the Solvency and Financial Condition Report and have generated much discussion in the industry as to the interaction with existing audit regulations and with the requirements for peer review set out in the Domestic Actuarial Regime.

This meeting will bring an accountant’s perspective to these discussions. Niall Naughton, KPMG, will present on the details of the requirements, followed by a panel discussion with Brian Morrissey and Glenn Gillard, Deloitte.
