Solvency II – Introduction to Pillar two

This is the second in a three part series of talks giving an overview of the three pillars of Solvency II. This session will focus on the Pillar II requirements around the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) and system of governance.

This is an opportunity for life and non-life actuaries, who have not previously had a significant involvement in Solvency II, to get a high level understanding of the governance and risk management aspects of Solvency II. The topics covered will include:

• The risk management system
• What is an ORSA?
• The ORSA Requirements
• ORSA Challenges

All members of the Society and non-members who are not familiar with the detailed workings of Pillar 2.
