Ethics in Pensions

Paul Kenny was appointed Pensions Ombudsman in April, 2003 by the then Minister for Social and Family Affairs and was re-appointed in April, 2009. The role of the Pensions Ombudsman is to investigate complaints of financial loss due to maladministration and disputes of fact or law in relation to occupational pension schemes, Personal Retirement Savings Accounts (PRSA) and Trust RACs.  The Pensions Ombudsman is completely independent in the performance of these functions and acts as an impartial adjudicator and therefore is well-placed to discuss the important topic of Ethics in Pensions.
