Retirement Actuary of the Future - MEMBERS ONLY EVENT

A Working Party of the Society of the Actuaries in Ireland was formed to explore the roles that actuaries might play in the future Irish pensions landscape.

This presentation covers key points from the discussion paper prepared by the Working Party entitled: “Retirement Actuary of the Future”. The presentation/paper considers the roles that actuaries can play in retirement planning in the future - identifying the skills and competencies that will be needed and the support that the Society can give members in (further) developing these.

In its workings the Working Party has considered the role of actuaries over approximately the next five to ten years.  The scope of the report considers both how the role of actuaries could change during this time period and what the role might look like at the end of this time period.   The paper is available below.

This meeting will be of particular interest to Senior Students and  Recent Qualifiers working in Pensions.
