Duncan Lyster will give a market update across the property sectors and will look at a few topical issues for our market including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)and Qualifying Investor Funds (QIFs).

Duncan is a Director of Lisney and specialises in advising clients on investment and development properties.
Since joining Lisney in 2004, he has worked on numerous large-scale investment transactions in Ireland, the UK and Europe. He has significant experience working in commercial investment, letting and development roles within both the Dublin and London markets. He previously worked for Hamilton Osborne King in Dublin and CBRE in London.
Recent achievements include a successful disposal programme for Ericsson (involving both sale and leaseback and vacant property sales), advising Google on the acquisition of two buildings where they had existing leases, in addition to providing advice to the Dublin Docklands Development Authority on its estate of built and development land holdings. He holds a BSc in Estate Management from the University of Greenwich. He is a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
