Biographical details

Niamh Brennan completed her training as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG prior to joining UCD where she is the Michael MacCormac Professor of Management and Academic Director of the centre of Corporate Governance at UCD.

Prof. Brennan is chairman of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority. She is a former non-executive director of the Health Services Executive, Ulster Bank, Lifetime, the Bank of Ireland’s life assurance subsidiary, of Coillte and Co-Operation Ireland. She has published widely in the areas of Financial Reporting, Corporate Governance and Forensic Accounting.
