Risk Appetite Panel Discussion

A Working Party of the Society's Enterprise Risk Management Committee has recently published a paper entitled "Constructing a Risk Appetite Framework - an Introduction". This interactive discussion evening will focus on the issues raised in this paper and will explore the practical challenges that companies face when putting such frameworks in place.  A panel of experts will take questions from the floor and give their views on how best to tackle these issues. Questions and comments in advance of the meeting are invited and should be submitted to Emily.OGara@actuaries.ie  It is hoped that this event will be of particular interest to those involved in working towards compliance with the specific risk appetite requirements of the recently published "Corporate Governance Code for Credit Institutions and Insurance Undertakings" of the Central Bank of Ireland.
