Pensions Committee

The Pensions Committee liaises with the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection and the Pensions Authority to contribute or respond to regulatory developments and policy initiatives in the pensions arena. The Committee also prepares and maintains Actuarial Standards of Practice to guide actuaries in the performance of their work and foster consistency and high quality. In addition, the Committee organises evening meetings, discussion forums and other continuing professional education opportunities for actuaries.
