Law Society diploma courses

Diploma Courses through the Law Society  

We are delighted to announce that Society members are welcome to apply for the Diploma in Insurance Law course currently being run by the Law Society – details are below. They have agreed to the following for Society members: 

• Typically, professionals other than qualified solicitors, barristers or trainees must apply with a CV before for being approved to attend these courses. Applications and CVs should be send to the contact diplomateam@lawsociety.ie 
• The course Fee is €2,660 for Law Society members and €2,995 for non-members. If some of the Society's members happen to also be Law Society members, they would avail of the lower fee plus the discount.

Diploma in Insurance Law  

This diploma will provide participants with an overview of the (re)insurance industry in Ireland and provide comprehensive coverage of all key issues relating to (re)insurance law and the litigation of insurance claims. The course will examine insurance concepts and underline the importance of understanding key insurance documentation. It will ensure that participants are aware of the important legal issues relating to both personal and commercial insurances and the legal issues pertaining to claims.
