Press Release on Right to be Forgotten

You may have seen comments in the Irish Times this morning about a report by the Society on the “Right to be Forgotten”.  The report is here and the associated press release is available here.  The report sets out the results of research undertaken into the experience of cancer survivors who apply for life insurance, and considers the implications of introducing such a framework.  The report does not advocate for, or against, the introduction of an RTBF framework which is a matter for Government and the insurance industry to address.
