Pat Lardner – Irish Funds Industry Association
Pat is Chief Executive of Irish Funds and has over twenty years’ experience in the global asset management industry and has held executive and board roles in Ireland and overseas with firms managing a full range of traditional and alternative investment strategies. Irish Funds has been a leading voice for the investment funds and asset management industry for more than thirty years and has contributed to cementing Ireland’s reputation as a European centre of excellence when it comes to supporting and enabling investments.
Thomas Donohoe – Insight Investment
Thomas joined Insight in August 2019 with responsibility for overseeing investment management activities associated with Insight’s funds and European portfolios. Thomas is the Designated Person for Investment Management Oversight and the Chief Investment Officer for Insight Investment Management (Europe) Ltd. Prior to joining Insight, Thomas had over 10 years’ experience as an investment consultant with LCP and Aon providing advice to institutional pension scheme trustees on investment strategy, risk management and investment manager research. Thomas graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelors in Actuarial & Financial Studies (first class honours) and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.
Grainne Alexander
Grainne is an experienced INED in the asset management industry working on both fund and management company boards for entities including Mercer, Goldman Sachs and Neuberger Berman in both Dublin and Luxembourg. Her executive career was in asset management, spanning time as a fund manager, asset allocation strategist, investment consultant and CEO of an asset management business. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the IoD and a Certificate in Sustainable Finance from UCD.
