EAA Web Session: Demand Modelling, Price Optimisation – Techniques, Ethics, Impact
Announcement from the EAA organiser:
Modelling Demand, that is probability of a client purchasing a product as a function of the offered price, provides critical insights into customer behaviour. It allows for more accurate predictions and better management of an insurance portfolio. Additionally, it enables Price Optimization, that is adjusting premiums to maximize profit while adhering to business strategy and ethical or regulatory constraints. This session will cover various aspects of those two topics.
In this online training attendees are given a comprehensive overview of the pricing process, highlighting the strategic role of price optimisation. The session delves into the construction of demand models, emphasizing their benefits in predicting customer behaviour. Participants learn about the mechanics of price optimisation and its significant value and impact on business outcomes. The web session also addresses important ethical and regulatory considerations to ensure responsible pricing strategies. The event concludes with a survey and an interactive Q&A session, allowing for participant engagement and feedback.
