The first year-end of IFRS 17 reporting is almost upon us. This interactive discussion evening will focus on auditor and INED perspectives and the challenges companies face in reporting under IFRS 17.
After a brief introduction and overview of some audit considerations, the panel will take questions from the floor and give their views. Questions and comments in advance of the meeting are invited and should be submitted to events@actuaries.ie.
Panelist will be:
- Brenda Dunne (INED and actuary),
- Shane McDonald (insurance audit partner, PwC),
- Aoife O’Brien (GI actuary, KPMG, and IFRS 17 WG member), and
- Frank O’Regan (life actuary, Deloitte, and IFRS 17 WG member).
Niall Naughton (life actuary, PwC, and IFRS 17 WG chair) will chair the event.
