In-person: Life and Non-Life joint HoAF Forum

The joint Life & Non Life HoAF Forum will be held on Wednesday 11th October.

This will be an in-person event only and will not be recorded.

The Forum will include a presentation from the CBI, who will provide an update on supervisory work, including AOTPs, inflation and climate risk.  Gary Stakem from Mazars will also facilitate a break-out session after the CBI's presentation.

Please note: In order to attend this meeting, you must be a SAI member and

  • be appointed to the HoAF role, or
  • be awaiting formal approval to take on the HoAF role or
  • act as a Reviewing Actuary.

If the HoAF is unable to attend, but wishes to send a colleague (who must be an SAI member) in their place, they should contact events@actuaries.ie providing detail of the proposed alternate, and the Society will consider this request.

If a member who does not meet the criteria set out above wishes to attend the Forum, they should contact events@actuaries.ie setting out the reasons why they should be allowed to attend, and their request will be considered by the Chair of the Life Committee and the Non-Life Committee. Permission to attend will only be granted in exceptional circumstances.

NB: As a security measure, there is a two-step registration process before you receive the link to join any meeting.  The first step is to register your interest in attending a meeting by making a reservation for an event via the Society’s website.  You will receive a link to then register via the Zoom platform.  It is after this second registration step that you will receive the link to join the meeting.
