Technical Seminar on recovery and resolution in (re-) insurance

Announcement from the EIOPA organiser:

The legislative proposal from the European Commission (IRRD) envisages setting up a pan-European framework for recovery and resolution of (re-)insurers.

EIOPA would like to increase the understanding about recovery and resolution in insurance and, in particular, the IRRD proposal by sharing practical experience with establishing recovery and resolution regimes. This includes topics such as resolution process and authorities or resolution plans.

A series of presentations followed by Q&As will focus on technical issues and first-hand experience with setting up different elements of recovery and resolution regimes and insurance guarantee schemes.

Furthermore, two panels will discuss proportionality and funding.
