We are now less than 4 weeks out from CFWI22, the 5th Edition of this important Government backed event.
Climate Finance Week Ireland 2022 (#CFWI22), the annual gathering of stakeholders engaged in advancing sustainable finance in pursuit of tackling climate change, will centre around the theme of 'Investing in a Climate Resilient Future Now. - Delivering Ireland’s Sustainable Finance Roadmap. Now in its fifth year, Climate Finance Week Ireland is the only Government backed Climate Finance event in Ireland.
This year’s event will examine how organisations can bring forward the sustainable finance agenda in an increasingly challenging policy environment. In contrast to previous years, the Climate agenda is contesting with renewed security and energy concerns and pressing humanitarian challenges – such as the ongoing war in Ukraine and the continuing international response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Within that context, the CFWI22 agenda will focus on articulating the progress achieved to date on catalysing funding for the transition through the European green deal and sustainable finance agenda, while also bringing biodiversity onto the agenda as a new area of strategic importance.
Behind the scenes we and partner event organisers are busy preparing for 36 excellent individual events, masterclasses, demonstrations and more across the week of 17th - 21st of October.
