Aileen Murphy, Actuarial Auditor, Deloitte: Aileen is a manager in the Deloitte Actuarial Practice having joined in 2018. She is a Life insurance Actuary with experience across domestic and international life insurance and reinsurance. Her primary expertise include Audit, Financial Reporting and Head of Actuarial Function support.

Eimear Mc Carthy, Audit Partner, Deloitte: Eimear is a Partner in the Financial Services Group and has been with Deloitte for nearly 20 years. She has extensive experience of working with insurance and reinsurance entities, particularly in the life assurance sector. Her clients have ranged from significant global subsidiaries to smaller domestic players. Eimear has supported audit clients on navigating a range of issues including large scale acquisitions, accounting policy changes, and new system implementations. In addition, Eimear specialises in the provision of external audit services, and other assurance services such as IFRS transition and training, regulatory audit and advisory support, and capital management strategy assistance. She is the IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts country lead, and is part of the EMEA-wide Group which is focused on this topic. She has delivered on SII readiness review projects in the lead up to full implementation.

Emer Daly, Chairman, Non-Executive Director, Audit Committee Chair and Consultant: Emer is a Chartered Accountant who, over the last 14 years, has served on Boards in a diverse range of industries as both Board Chairman, Audit Committee Chair and Non-Executive Director. She is currently Chairman of the Board of RSA Insurance Ireland and Audit Committee Chair with RGA International Reinsurance Company DAC and with Chetwood Ltd, and is a member of the Audit Committee of Ryanair plc. She has more than 30 years of experience in retail financial services, regulated industries, public limited companies, the state sector and audit practice. She is also a partner in BetterBoards, a consultancy in Board effectiveness. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Certified Bank Director.

Padraig Osbourne, PWC Audit Partner: Padraig Osborne is an assurance partner in PWC’s insurance practice. He has over 20 years experience, locally and internationally, providing assurance and business advisory services to the insurance industry. Padraig has built up an in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory and other market issues relating to the insurance industry. In particular, he has considerable expertise advising insurance groups dealing with acquisitions and disposals, group restructuring, regulatory matters, internal control and IFRS reporting.
