SAI Graduation Programme - Course 2
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this Graduation Programme will be run as an online course in two parts; Part A will cover off all aspects of professionalism in order to meet your Fellowship requirements for the Society and the IFoA. Part B will be delivered in November and will focus on personal development.
We are now pleased to announce details of Part A of this course, detailed below.
Part A – Professionalism
Part A will be run over the course of 5 days, from 12th – 16th October, from 2pm – 4pm (Course 1). It will then be repeated on 2nd - 6th November, from 9am – 11am (Course 2). Details for Course 1 can be found here.
Part B – Personal Development
Part B will be run over the course of 3 days, from 9th – 11th November, from 2pm – 4pm (Course 1). It will then be repeated on 23rd – 25th November, from 9am – 11am (Course 2). Details for Course 1 can be found here.
Those previously registered as attendees have been allocated to a course. If you are not yet registered and would like to make a booking to attend this Graduation Course, please contact the Society and we will allocate you, depending on practice area and availability.
Participation at a Graduation Programme is an essential part of your progression to Fellowship with the Society, so attendance at all parts of the Programme is required.
IFoA Professionalism Requirements
Your virtual attendance at part A of the Society’s Graduation Programme in October will satisfy the IFoA’s professionalism requirements. Some of those who were due to attend the Programme in April may, as a result of the postponement, have more than a year since they became Fellows of the IFoA. We have obtained agreement from the IFoA that, provided they attend one of our programs in October, they need not take the IFoA Graduation course as well, just to comply with the one-year rule. If this applies to you, then you may receive an email from the IFoA reminding you of the one-year rule. You can let the IFoA that you are planning to attend our Programme
