Professionalism Training

Members only event.

Sally will introduce the IFoA’s new suite of online professional skills training materials and will invite attendees to participate in discussions on some of the scenarios. There will be a focus on the professional codes of conduct using a variety of case studies including videos, written scenarios and quiz questions.

Biographical details

Sally is an Education Actuary at the IFoA with nearly 20 years’ experience in professional education. Prior to that she was a consultant advising corporate clients on occupational pensions matters. In her current role she runs a range of events on behalf of the IFoA ranging from local sessions on professionalism to teaching undergraduates overseas. She is also responsible for monitoring and reviewing many of the IFoA’s professional examinations, including the communications examination where she put the principles into practice to write a series of novels, three of which have been published.
