ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Insurance Ireland exclusively hosts the 8th Insurance Europe InternationalConference in Dublin on Wednesday,25th May 2016. Learn more about the extensive programme of events we have put together to mark this event and Insurance Ireland’s 30th anniversary at www.ieconf2016.com. 

The theme of the conferenceis ‘Serving our Customer in Tomorrow’s World’. Over 600 delegates from 50 countries will join the debate on several serious issues facing both the insurance industry and wider society. 150+ of our delegates will be international/domestic industry CEOs.

A SPECIAL YEAR:

2016 is a particularly significant year for Ireland, marking the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising, the event that marked the country’s first step towards independence. It is also a historic year for the industry, marking the 30th celebrations of the founding of Insurance Ireland, the Voice of the Industry. To celebrate our 30th anniversary we are holding a series of events around the 8th Insurance Europe International Conference:

Insurance Ireland’s AnnualCEO Breakfast has been scheduled to open the conference on Wednesday May 25th and is sponsored by KPMG.

Insurance Ireland’s 30th Celebrations Cocktail Reception will mark the closing of the conference on Wednesday May 25th and is sponsored by William Fry.

To mark our hosting of this International conference and our 30th Anniversary Insurance Ireland will replace the Annual Industry Lunch with a special 30th

Celebrations Gala Dinner on Wednesday May 25th which is sponsored by Deloitte.

Insurance Ireland will host of the Global Federation of Insurance Association (GFIA) Gala Dinner on Thursday May 26th and this invite only event is sponsored by Accenture.
