Rachael Ingle will reflect on some of the key local and international retirement events and examine how they might influence the thoughts of Government, companies and trustees.

Eoghan Burns will review research into  how people prepare for and cope with retirement and recent events impacting pensions,  to see the key messages for managing retirement provision for the future.

Biographical details

Rachael Ingle is the Managing Director of Aon Hewitt Retirement and Investment Business and has been working in the pensions industry for over 20 years. She joined Bacon & Woodrow (now Aon Hewitt) in London in 1998 having previously worked with Hay Management Consultants and Sedgwick Noble Lowndes both in Ireland and the UK.  She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.  Rachael is currently Vice Chair of the IAPF.

Eoghan Burns is Director of Finance and Risk Operations for Irish life Corporate Business. Eoghan joined Irish Life in 1995 and has worked in various roles in Corporate Business since 1998.  Eoghan is a Council Member of the Irish Association of Pension Funds and is also the chairperson of the IAPF Benefits Committee. Eoghan has experience as a pension scheme trustee as a Director of Irish Life Trustee Services.
