The Value of ERM

Why attend?

ERM is a fast growing area of actuarial interest and work.  This seminar will share perspectives on current practices in ERM from senior practitioners, both inside and outside the actuarial profession.  The discussions will include current hot topics including as risk appetite, risk culture, and the value (if any) for organisations to gain from implementing ERM.  It also includes an opportunity to hear David Law, the CRO for the London 2012 Olympics, discuss how risk management supported the successful delivery of one of the UK’s most complex and high-profile recent projects.

Who should attend?

The seminar is aimed at qualified actuaries, either working directly in ERM, or whose roles include a major component of risk management.  It will also be of interest to those in or looking to develop into senior risk positions within or outside the Financial Services industry.
