SAI Student Society Wine Tasting Evening

With exams & courses, and the Oktoberfest all out of the way for the year, we're inviting all student actuaries to a wine tasting evening in D2 on Harcourt Street on Thursday, November 4th. Theme for the night: "New World vs Old".

The New World has brought us many great things down through the years, but what of their wines? We'll find out on the night with the help of a wine expert who will guide us through the highs and the lows of tasting, the nuances of the wines, what to look out for and what to avoid. The night will follow a similar format to the first run of the event last year. For those who attended last year's event and now feel they’re experts on the subject, we’ll be mixing it up with extra challenges. Finger food will also be provided.

The event starts at 7pm and the cost is €5, which can be paid on the night. Those who wish to attend should email brendan.kearney@londonlife.ie. Places may have to be limited, depending on demand.
