A closer look at Solvency II

One-day seminar, 28 April 2010, Royal College of Physicians, London

This multidisciplinary seminar will focus exclusively on Solvency II in the general insurance, health and care and life practice areas.

The opening plenary will be setting the scene for a variety of sessions covering both discipline-specific and generic issues arising from Solvency II. The aim of the day is provide the latest thinking from a variety of leading practitioners and others involved in implementing the new regime, with a deliberate inclusion of a number of topics which have received less focus in the debate so far. It aims to focus on all three pillars of Solvency II, not just the pillar one related items.

The day will finish with an open question and answer session with panel members from the FSA and ABI.
